Friday June 12th will be the first race for the IMCA style Sport Modifieds at SVR.  We are excited to have modifieds from around the area and can't wait to see MODS on a 1/4 mile.  Jayhusker Racing will also be at SVR on June 12 so come see some hair raising racing action.

As all of you know by now Chad McDaniel passed away from injuries suffered in an accident at the Knoxville Raceway.  Chad was a key player in helping SVR schedule and hold the High Plains Shootout this year.  We appreciate all that he did for SVR and for the sport of racing.  He will always be in our hearts and minds.  We love you Chado, Always missed Never forgotten.

SVR will host the High Plains Shootout May 15th and 16th.  This race will consist of 2 classes.  The USAC/SMRS Midgets and the 600 Outlaws Wingless (Jayhusker Outlaw Rules)  Hot laps will start at 7:00pm races at 7:30.  Some of the best midget drivers from around the MidWest will be at the event.  Many of the same drivers competing at this race will also be competing in the midget nationals at Belleville.  SVR's 1/4 mile track will provide some hair raising action as these two classes hit the track.
